Loved the succinct review of the flight. I want to know whether your reference to 'shit' was followed by the episode involving the vomit bag. Oh do tell in more graphic detail!!!!!

Thank God I wasn't on the plane! Sounds like my last flight to Sydney where people were screaming it was so bad! Adelaide is always disgustingly bumpy. I should be used to it by now.

ah yep - sounds a little like my flight from Sydney to Adelaide yesterday. our plane made it out of SYD before the storm hit - which delayed all the following flghts - however that meant we flew or bumped through the storm or around it or whatever. A bit of fun.
i remember my flight out of Beijing 10 years ago was also through a storm and was interesting.
so did you get your upgrade or had to slum it with everyone else?

On the Singapore to Beijing leg, I saw a vomit bag used for the first time! (not by me). I saw an attendant grab one from the back of a seat and quickly give it to a guy outside the toilets. He *ahem* made rather good use of the bag, but unfortunately either the bag wasn't big enough or his aim was a bit off, because the floor, and a guy next to him, shared in the experience.

Hahaha. Poor sucker. You'd want an upgrade after that experience!
